Merus, LLC has begun construction on the RiverGate Walkable District, a mixed-use redevelopment of RiverGate Mall at 1000 Rivergate Parkway in Goodlettsville. The project includes 917 residential units, a 120-room hotel, and 130,000 square feet of commercial space in buildings up to seven stories. Smith Gee Studio is the architect.
The unit count rose from 880 to 917 since earlier approvals, and the completion date moved up from December 31, 2031 to December 31, 2030.
Amenities include a pool courtyard, central gathering area, center green and plaza, and public green space. The commercial component will be anchored by a grocery store and restaurants.
The site will include a multimodal transit facility with WeGo Public Transit. The property sits along Rivergate Parkway near the I-65 interchange, a primary corridor to downtown Nashville.
