Turnberry has broken ground on the Grand Hyatt Miami Beach, an 800-room, 17-story headquarters hotel adjacent to the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Construction is underway on the Grand Hyatt Miami Beach at 1701 Convention Center Drive, adjacent to the Miami Beach Convention Center. The Turnberry-developed, Arquitectonica-designed hotel rises 17 stories and 185 feet with 800 rooms.

The 798,005-square-foot project includes 320 parking spaces. Completion is expected December 31, 2027.

Amenities include a rooftop pool, resort-style pool deck, second pool, fitness center, spa, signature restaurant, lobby lounge and bar, grand lawn, and ground-floor retail. A climate-controlled skybridge will connect the hotel to the convention center.

The project has long been planned as the district's convention center headquarters hotel.
