Related Urban Development Group has proposed Magnus Grove & Stirrup Plaza, twin 25-story mixed-use towers totaling 818 units at 3181 Douglas Road and 3150 Mundy Street in West Grove. Cohen Freedman Encinosa & Associates is the architect.
Each tower rises 270 feet, with 811 parking spaces and 55 bicycle spaces. Magnus Grove's amenity deck sits on the 8th floor; Stirrup Plaza's on the 6th. Each tower has its own pool.
The project includes a 7,650-square-foot public library and 7,295 square feet of ground-floor retail and restaurant space. It is being advanced under Florida's Live Local Act, with an affordable housing component added to the filing.
The site sits along Douglas Road near the corridor's existing residential and commercial mix. The project next moves through city review and permitting.
