GC Land Partners has won approval for Pilot Point Town Center, a 2,000-unit mixed-use development on 102 acres at the southeast corner of FM 1385 and G.A. Moore Parkway (FM 455) in Pilot Point. The project will rise up to four stories and combine residential, commercial, and retail uses in a town center format.

Commercial components include restaurants, fast-food dining, a gas station, and big-box retail. A trail system will link the commercial and residential areas, a mid-street connecting roadway will run through the site, and extensive landscaping is planned.

The Denton County city has drawn increasing development interest as growth pushes north from the metroplex core. FM 1385 connects the site to US 380 to the south, while FM 455 runs east toward Lake Ray Roberts and west toward Interstate 35.
