Seco Ventures has won approval for the Catalyst Panther Island tower at 508 N. Main St in Fort Worth's Panther Island district. The 12-story mixed-use project totals 250,000 square feet with 290 units. Gensler is the architect.
It is the first apartment tower planned for Panther Island, the Trinity River redevelopment area north of downtown. The project was previously tracked under a general Panther Island address; approval confirms the North Main Street site.
Plans include ground-floor retail and pedestrian access to the canal, part of the Trinity River Vision Authority's flood control and redevelopment effort.
Completion is set for December 31, 2030. Next steps: design finalization and construction scheduling.
