Catalina, a 336-unit fully affordable development by The NRP Group, is under construction on Cameron Road. The three-story project, previously tracked as proposed, has moved into active construction.
Amenities include a resort-style pool, 24-hour fitness center, business center, and multipurpose community room with full kitchen. Family-oriented features include a children's activity room, playground, and green spaces with outdoor seating. A complimentary resident shuttle is planned.
Resident services will include after-school care, financial literacy courses, ESL classes, and first-time homebuyer programs—standard for tax credit-financed projects, which NRP frequently develops across Texas.
Completion is expected by April 30, 2028. The project adds to Austin's growing pipeline of income-restricted housing.
