The W South Beach at 2201 Collins Avenue is under construction for conversion to the Waldorf Astoria Miami Beach. The project includes 348 hotel rooms across 20 floors. Reuben Brothers is developing, with interiors by Avenue Interior Design. Completion is expected by end of 2027.

Amenities include a 48,000-square-foot pool deck with private cabanas and two pools, the Peacock Alley lobby lounge, a spa and wellness center, and an upgraded fitness center.

The food and beverage program adds a French patisserie and a beachfront restaurant, plus a private members-only lounge and revamped event spaces. The rebrand moves the oceanfront property to Hilton's luxury Waldorf Astoria flag, replacing the W brand.
