The Confluence, a mixed-use project, is under construction at Waller Creek from 4th Street to Lady Bird Lake in Austin's Waterloo Greenway. Developed by Waterloo Greenway Conservancy and designed by Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates Inc., it will integrate Central Texas creek landscapes into the urban environment.

Amenities include over 200,000 plants, 1,600 trees, three lattice bridges, an 800-foot boardwalk, and a Lagoon Overlook. An off-street bike and pedestrian trail will enhance mobility, complemented by gathering spaces like the Leaf Deck, Lakeview Terrace, Explorer’s Garden, and Cypress Grove and Trailhead Plaza.

Completion is slated for June 6, 2026, promising recreational and ecological benefits to the community.
