Blue Origin's 1.3M SF Hutto Plant Approved
Blue Origin's 1.3M sq ft Constellation Park manufacturing complex on Hwy 79 in Hutto is approved, with completion expected in late 2027.

Constellation Park, a 1.3-million-square-foot manufacturing complex, is approved for a site on Hwy 79 between Innovation and Alliance boulevards in Hutto. Blue Origin is developing the project, announced October 8 by the company and Gov. Greg Abbott. Completion is expected by October 31, 2027.
The multi-facility complex sits within the 118-acre Hutto Crossing development owned by Ironwood Realty Partners, Velocis and MBK Industrial Properties. Blue Origin will convert an existing vacant building into the manufacturing hub, producing hardware for the TeraWave satellite communications network, the Quartz ground network, solar arrays, avionics and telecommunications equipment.
Capital investment is listed at $554.78 million in the state announcement, with figures elsewhere ranging from $550 million to $674 million. The project is expected to create more than 2,000 jobs over 10 years at an average salary of $88,000. Incentives include a Texas Enterprise Fund grant of more than $18 million, a $10,000 Veteran Created Job Bonus, and a 10-year Williamson County tax abatement covering 100% of real property and 50% of personal property for the first five years, then 50% of real property for the final five.
Blue Origin committed to paid high school internships and CTE support with Hutto ISD. City leaders expect the company to occupy the existing facility within about a year. The site fronts Hwy 79, the primary corridor connecting Hutto to Round Rock and Taylor.
