Texas Children's Hospital Austin's fifth-floor fit out has been approved at 9835 North Lake Creek Pkwy, Building A, near the Williamson County line. The 24,543-square-foot project is registered at $17.9 million. Texas Children's Hospital is the developer; Stantec Architecture, Inc. is the architect.
The fit out adds a Level IV NICU—the highest neonatal care designation, equipped for critically ill newborns including complex surgical cases—plus universal-care pediatric beds, building out the fifth floor of the existing Building A.
The project moved from proposed to approved status, with completion expected December 31, 2027. This is the first formal tracking of the project, with floor count, square footage, and timeline now on record.
The campus sits along North Lake Creek Parkway with access from SH 45 and MoPac, serving the northern Austin–Williamson County corridor.
