330-Unit Springs at Abbey Crossings Breaks Ground in Pasco County
Continental Properties has started construction on Springs at Abbey Crossings, a 330-unit community off State Road 52 in San Antonio, with completion set for September 2027.
Springs at Abbey Crossings, a 330-unit community south of State Road 52 and east of McKendree Road in San Antonio, has moved from proposed to active construction. Continental Properties is developing the project, with Excel Engineering handling engineering. Completion is expected September 30, 2027.
The site sits along the SR 52 corridor, a growing residential submarket in Pasco County. The address was refined during entitlement from a general Abbey Crossings location to the current site near McKendree Road.
Amenities include a pickleball court, bocce ball and cornhole courts, a hammock park, dog park, fire pits, and grilling stations. The site plan incorporates open green space and pond and wetland views. Units will offer EV charging, gated access, smart-home technology, and attached garage options.
SR 52 connects to Interstate 75 to the east and US 19 to the west; McKendree Road provides local access.
