The project was previously tracked as a proposal under the names Iron Mountain MIA-1 Data Center and Iron Mountain Data Center NW Miami-Dade, with earlier filings listing the location only as Westview or Northwest Miami-Dade. The address has since been confirmed at the NW 120th Terrace site near Westview.

The building is pursuing BREEAM certification. The 75-foot height accommodates the multi-level equipment layouts typical of modern data centers.

Iron Mountain provides colocation and data storage for enterprise and government clients across the U.S. and internationally. The Miami facility expands its South Florida footprint in a market drawing data center investment as a connectivity hub for Latin America.

The site sits in an industrial section of northwest Miami-Dade with access to the Palmetto Expressway and the Interstate 75 corridor.
