The Cottage Green at Stallings, a 221-unit mixed-use build-to-rent community, has been approved at 3612 Matthews-Weddington Road in Stallings. HMF Americana is the developer. Earlier filings described the site only as lying between Stallings and Weddington; the approval confirms the street address.
The two-story community will offer detached cottage-style homes and duplex patio homes rather than conventional apartments, with a portion of units reserved for residents 55 and older. Multi-tenant commercial space rounds out the mixed-use component.
