The approval finalizes a project previously in proposed status, with the site narrowed from a general Highway 21 location to the specific Rohde-to-High corridor.

At more than 6,200 homes, The Ridge ranks among the larger master-planned communities approved in the metro's southeastern growth corridor, where Hays County continues to absorb residential development along SH 21 and SH 130.
