EDCAUS Proposes 577K SF Data Center in Cedar Creek
EDCAUS has proposed a 576,777-square-foot, single-story data center campus at 6543 FM 535 in Cedar Creek, with completion expected in late 2028.

EDCAUS has proposed a 576,777-square-foot, single-story data center campus at 6543 FM 535 in Cedar Creek, southeast of Austin. This is the project's first appearance in local development tracking.
The industrial infrastructure project joins a wave of data center proposals across Central Texas. The site sits along FM 535, a corridor connecting Cedar Creek to Bastrop and State Highway 21.
Completion is expected December 25, 2028. The project must clear Bastrop County permitting and review, including site plan approval and utility coordination typical for large-scale data centers.
The unincorporated Cedar Creek site offers access to SH 21 to the south and SH 71 to the north, connecting to Bastrop, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, and the broader Austin metro.
