Block 185, a mixed-use development at 601 W. 2nd St in downtown Austin, is complete. Developed by Trammell Crow Company and designed by Pelli Clarke & Partners with STG Design, it comprises 35 floors and 804,000 sq ft.
Standing 594 ft tall, it includes parking for 1,400 vehicles. Amenities feature a lobby, fitness center, recreation areas, and 5 elevated decks with terraces and a boardwalk along Shoal Creek. Construction concluded in late 2022.
Block 185 achieved LEED Platinum certification, highlighting its sustainability. The design includes view balconies and retail cafes. Public transit access is facilitated by nearby streets and bus routes.
