ACC Hays Campus Building 5000, a 3-story, 136,300-square-foot Health Sciences Instructional Building, is approved at 1200 Kohlers Crossing, Kyle, TX 78640. Previously listed as proposed, the project now carries approved status with expected completion August 21, 2028. Austin Community College District is the developer; HarrisonKornberg Architects, LLC is the architect.
The building will house classrooms, laboratories, a testing center, administrative offices, and vocational training spaces. Plans include all-individual ADA-accessible restrooms and a Central Utility Plant.
The project targets LEED Silver certification and expands instructional capacity at ACC's Hays Campus, serving the growing Hays County area south of Austin.
