Seigenthaler Bridge East Bank Extension Approved, Slips to 2029
The Titans' East Bank extension of the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge is approved, with completion pushed from late 2027 to September 2029.
The John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge East Bank Extension has been approved. Developed by the Tennessee Titans and designed by Barge Design Solutions, the project extends the bridge's connection to the East Bank.
The extension includes an accessible oval ramp, stairs, and two elevators linking the bridge to the East Bank below, plus a greenway connection to the broader East Bank network.

Completion has been revised from December 31, 2027 to September 30, 2029—a delay of roughly 21 months. The project is part of the East Bank redevelopment anchored by the new Nissan Stadium.
