A 10-story, 108-room Holiday Inn Express has been proposed for 333 Union Street, near Printers Alley. Union Holding LLC is developing the roughly 120-foot project, with architecture by SV Design.
The site was previously identified by the 4th Avenue and Union Street cross streets before receiving its address. It sits within walking distance of Printers Alley and a short distance from Lower Broadway.
Plans include rooftop amenities and a basement speakeasy-style bar, a nod to Printers Alley's Prohibition-era character. The structure will occupy a compact footprint typical of recent central business district hotel development.
The project remains in the proposed stage and will require Metro Planning site plan approval and building permits before groundbreaking.
The site is served by WeGo Public Transit routes along Union Street and 4th Avenue, near the Music City Central station at 4th Avenue and Charlotte Avenue.
