A dual-brand Hilton tower is under construction at 415 Lavaca Street downtown. The project pairs an Embassy Suites with a Tempo by Hilton, rising 30 stories and 368 feet with 480 rooms across 336,860 square feet. Merritt Development Group is developing; DLR Group is the architect.
Completion is slated for March 31, 2029. The project, previously tracked as a proposal, has moved into active construction.
Amenities include a rooftop bar and lounge, a rooftop restaurant with covered outdoor terrace, a podium-level restaurant, and a 28th-floor outdoor terrace. Meeting facilities total 7,700 square feet of flexible space plus a ballroom, conference center with pre-function area, and private meeting rooms. Each brand gets its own F&B outlets—an Embassy Suites restaurant and bar and a Tempo café—plus a fitness center.
The site sits near City Hall, within walking distance of the Warehouse District and Second Street retail corridor, and is served by CapMetro routes along Lavaca and Guadalupe.
