Blue Origin's 1.3 million-square-foot industrial facility at Innovation Boulevard in Hutto Crossing Industrial Park has been approved. The project, also tracked as Project Blue Hub and Project Speed Racer, is being developed by the Jeff Bezos-founded aerospace company.

This is the project's first appearance in our tracking. It previously sat at proposed status; the address has also been refined from a general Hutto Crossing location to the specific Innovation Boulevard site.

At 1.3 million square feet, the facility ranks among the larger industrial projects planned in the Austin metro. Blue Origin operates an engine production facility in Huntsville, Alabama, a rocket manufacturing complex in Florida, and a launch and testing site near Van Horn in West Texas.

Hutto Crossing Industrial Park sits in Hutto, a fast-growing Williamson County city roughly 30 miles northeast of downtown Austin, with access to SH 130 and US 79.
