The Stitch Highway Capping Project, a mixed-use development, is approved for the Downtown Connector (I-75/I-85) at Peachtree–Courtland Streets in Downtown Atlanta. It will deliver 3000 affordable housing units and transform the area with innovative infrastructure.

Features include a public park, plazas, pedestrian pathways, and shaded structures. Additional amenities are playgrounds, native gardens, restrooms, a café, event pavilions, a dog park, a skate park, and public art. Completion is expected by December 31, 2036.

This project will enhance the urban landscape by creating green spaces and community areas atop the highway, offering recreational and residential opportunities for residents and visitors.
