Westside Future Fund has proposed Proctor + Paines, a 35-unit residential development at 383 Paines Ave. NW in English Avenue. The project, newly tracked, would remake the site between Proctor Street and Paines Avenue.
Twenty-five of the 35 units—roughly 71 percent—would be affordable. Plans call for incorporating a former church structure on the property into the new community.
Site features include a communal pavilion, covered parking, and terraced pedestrian access linking Proctor Street and Paines Avenue, addressing the grade change between the two streets.
