Liberty Square Phase 6, a 336-unit mixed-use development, has been approved at 1301 NW 62nd Street in Liberty City. The 8-story, 374,744-square-foot project is developed by Related Urban Development Group, with Modis Architects designing.
All 336 units are affordable housing. This is the first confirmed address, unit count, and approval for the phase, which was previously tracked as proposed.
The project includes a central park, interior green space, and commercial space along 62nd Street, with amenity connections linking shared spaces across the site.
Phase 6 is the latest stage of Related Urban's ongoing redevelopment of Liberty Square, one of the oldest public housing communities in the U.S. With approval secured, the project moves to permitting and construction.
