Terra's 800-room, 17-story Grand Hyatt at 1701 Convention Center Drive is under construction, with completion now targeted for November 2027.

The Grand Hyatt Miami Beach Convention Center Hotel is under construction at 1701 Convention Center Drive, moving from proposed to active status. Terra is developing the 800-room, 17-story, 996,130-square-foot project, designed by Arquitectonica.

The 185-foot hotel will connect to the Miami Beach Convention Center via a climate-controlled skybridge. It includes 110,000 square feet of meeting and ballroom space, five food and beverage outlets, a signature restaurant, a lobby lounge and bar, a Grand Club lounge, and 320 parking spaces.

Amenities include two resort-style pools, a rooftop pool deck, an 8,000-square-foot Grand Lawn on the fifth-floor amenity deck, and a fitness center with a spa treatment room. The ground floor will have retail, pedestrian promenades, and bike-sharing stations. The project is targeting LEED Silver.

Completion has moved up from December 31 to November 30, 2027. The hotel sits adjacent to the convention center at the northern edge of South Beach.
